Russian Week of Public Transport and City Mobility has started at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds. It is dedicated to public transport as an important component of modern urban culture.

The event is organised by Belteko with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Transport, and the Department of Transport and Development of Road and Transport Infrastructure of Moscow.

It is carried out in the interests of road transport companies, subways, relevant specialists of municipal administrations, as well as representatives of authorities, design institutes and special industrial enterprises.

The conference programme of the Week was worked out with specialists from transport and industry associations – the National Autotransport and Public Transit Association (NAPTA), the Union of Transport Workers of Russia, the Transportation Security Association, the Russian University of Transport (MIIT), Mosgortrans, and Mostransavto.

The Week’s product sectors are transport planning, urban transport infrastructure, rolling stock, information systems and technologies used in public transport, tunneling, and equipment and materials used in the operation of transport communications.

Russian Week of Public Transport and City Mobility will also host an open meeting of the Public Council under the Russian Ministry of Transport, various panels, professional discussions and other events important for the professional audience.

Russian Week of Public Transport and City Mobility will run till 29 September.
