EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds hosts the MotorsportExpo. Motospring. Velocult 2022 International Exhibition on 8–10 April. It is organised by Sole Proprietor Yu.A. Isaev with support of the Moscow City Department of Transport and Development of the Road Transport Infrastructure, and with assistance of EXPOCENTRE AO.
The exhibition is traditionally held before the opening of the motorbike and cycling season. Two-hundred Russian companies and representatives of foreign brands occupy about 7,500 gross sq m to demonstrate their products and achievements. The Motorsport part of the show showcases major manufacturers of motor vehicles, major teams and leading riders, race series promoters, and Russia's best race tracks. Top riders and teams – KAMAZ-master, Anastasia Nifontova, Sergey Sirotkin and others – will talk all about their equipment and victories.
Motospring introduces motorbikes, four-wheelers, snowmobiles, equipment, tires, motorbike schools, motorbike workshops and services, insurance and banking services. The visitors will learn what is new in motorsports, motor tourism, and much more. The 15th Moscow Custom & Tuning Show, the key event in the world of motorbike design and innovation, as well as the official stage of the World Championship of customizing in the AMD classification, will take place in Hall 2 of Pavilion No. 2.
For the second year in a row, the exhibition has organised specialised showrooms – Velokult Individual Transport and EDrive Individual Electric Vehicles. The goal of Velocult is to popularise cycling culture in Russia. It will have not only demonstrations of the latest bicycle models and meetings with manufacturers, but also demonstration rides and sporting events.
The EDrive visitors will see the most extensive display of individual electric vehicles, listen to experts, get advice from professionals, and take part in test drives and giveaways.
For the first time, the Moscow Festival of Knife Culture takes place during the exhibition, showcasing popular models of knives for sports, hiking, survival and cooking, as well as real masterpieces of knife art and collectible blades.
The outdoor area Pavilion No.8 and Forum has a fenced-in area for demonstration performances by staff of the Moscow City Traffic Management Center and sabre-rattlers.
The outdoor area Pavilions No. 1, No. 8 and Forum offer gymkhana races (manoeuvring between road cones), mix-trial (manoeuvring on bicycles), and race of the ultralight hovercraft "Beetle 2".
The outdoor area between Pavilions Nos.2 and 6 hosts stunt demonstrations (manoeuvring on a motorbike on one wheel).
Test drives, prize drawings, giveaways, awards for national championship winners, film premieres and presentations of new projects will await all exhibition visitors.
