The Atakent Exhibition Centre in Almaty (Kazakhstan) hosted the international specialised exhibitions for Childhood and Kid’s Fashion 2023 from 17 to 19 August 2023. Every year this event attracts close attention of the business public from neighbouring countries, and this time was no exception.

Russia was represented at the Childhood and Kid’s Fashion 2023 exhibitions by the Made in Russia national pavilion, where 20 Russian manufacturers showed their goods for children. The pavilion was organised by the Russian Export Center. The operator is EXPOCENTRE AO.

In the Russian national pavilion with an area of more than 340 sq m, domestic companies attracted the attention of visitors with children’s goods of the following categories: children’s furniture, wooden toys, construction sets, clothes and footwear for children, and much more. During the Childhood and Kid’s Fashion 2023 exhibitions the participants in the Made in Russia pavilion held more than 200 business meetings and negotiations, attended workshops and masterclasses on entrepreneurship, gained new strategic partners from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan and opened a promising sales market. The potential of business negotiations exceeded $12 million.

The conference programme of the trade shows was truly impressive. On the first day Russian exhibitors took part in the business meeting on No Tie. Meet Big Business Representatives from CIS, the 3rd Educational Forum ‘Modern Teacher’, workshop on Effective Decisions in the State of Uncertainty, the Kids Fashion Show, the Purchasing Centre for Retail Chains with Kyrgyz businessmen, and masterclass on Heroes of Our Time: Five Successful Brands of 2023.

The second day was also filled with significant events for domestic participants, among them presentation on Spielwarenmesse Dialogue 2024, business session on Advantages of Working with Licences for Manufacturers, business workshop on How to Start a Company and Do Business in Kazakhstan, masterclasses on Assortment Matrix and Business Trends: Building Effective Work and Kid’s Fashion Trends from World Top Agencies, workshop on Business Model. Defining Target Audience. Customer Avatar. USP Formulas and Unique Competitive Advantage, and business game ‘Grow Your Business 3 Times’.

The 7th Mom + Childhood international festival was the exhibitions’ highlight not only of the third day, but also of the whole exhibition. The colourful event, in which brands from Russia took part, did not leave any of the visitors indifferent.
