The 30^th anniversary edition of the International Exhibition for Machinery, Equipment and Technology for Logging, Woodworking and Furniture Industries – Lesdrevmash 2024 – will take place at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, on 9–12 September 2024. It will include the WoodWorld Forum of Forestry Enterprises 2024 within its conference programme.

 The forum’s programme is divided into three blocks. On the first day, 9 September, there will be a general assessment of the state of the Russian timber industry and the potential of the Russian timber industry in the current conditions. Drivers of the timber industry’s development, which are the construction sector and raw materials supply, will be given special attention.

 The second day, 10 September, will be devoted to the production and sale of sawn timber on domestic and foreign markets. Particular attention will be paid to the development of exports to Central Asia and the difficulties associated with the supply of equipment and spare parts to Russian timber producers. Experts will discuss the possibility of establishing forest machine-tool production in Russia and competition from China.

 The third day of the Forum, 11 September, will be dedicated to the production and sales of wood-based panels and plywood. The furniture industry and cooperation with furniture associations from Central Asian countries will be in the focus of discussions.

 The showcase of Lesdrevmash 2024 will be located in Pavilions No. 2, No. 8 and open-air area of the venue. More than 200 companies will take part in the show.

 This year, Lsdrevmash will take place simultaneously with Rusweld 2024, which is an international exhibition for welding and cutting equipment, technologies and materials. It will no doubt allow the exhibitors of the both shows to gain access to a new audience and expand the list of potential customers.

 The Lesdrevmash conference programme will host events where everyone interested will discuss the most relevant issues of the industry. These topics include support for Russian manufacturers of woodworking equipment and ensuring uninterrupted operation of Russian woodworking enterprises.
