6th Edition of the International Exhibition and Forum for Energy Saving, Green Energy and Electric Vehicles

RENWEX 2025, held from 22 to 24 April 2025 at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, has once again confirmed the show’s status as Russia's leading platform for demonstrating renewable energy technologies and charging infrastructure, and served as a meeting place for representatives of government authorities, research community and business.
Several thousand professionals attended the exhibition and forum over the three days. Both visitors and exhibitors enjoyed a fruitful dialogue, forged new partnerships, and discussed priorities for the development of renewable energy sources and electric transport.

Show highlights
Leading Russian universities, including MISIS – University of Science and Technology, Institute of Solid State Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, National Research University – Moscow Power Engineering Institute, and others, demonstrated their key developments.
Aleksey Zhikharev, Director of the Russia Renewable Energy Development Association (RREDA), emphasised the importance of RENWEX as a key platform for interaction between government, business and science:
“Amid the transformations in the energy system of Russia and around the world, energy transition technologies are beginning to play a more and more important role. RENWEX has become a centre of gravity for the professional community.”
Conference programme
The conference programme of RENWEX 2025 was once again an intellectual core of the exhibition. It brought together different strategic sessions, panel discussions, presentations, and pitch sessions. Each of the three days was dedicated to a different topic: green energy, electric transport, and energy saving technologies.
On the first day, the topics of discussions were trends in sustainable energy transition and international cooperation. There were sessions with participation of experts from Belarus, Egypt, the UAE, as well as discussion of smart energy for isolated territories and issues of HR potential of the industry.
The second day focused on the development of electric transport. The participants presented technological solutions and discussed strategies for expanding the charging infrastructure. Pitch sessions and an open dialogue between manufacturers, suppliers and potential partners attracted particular attention.
The third day was devoted to practical issues of energy saving, local energy supply, storage, and microgeneration. The sessions were organised by the Distributed Power Generation Association, the National Agency for Energy Saving and Renewable Energy (NAERE), the Green Kilowatt Association, and others.
