Russian Healthcare Week 2025

Russian Healthcare Week 2025 will take place from December 8 through 11, 2025. It is a flagship series of congresses and trade shows dedicated to healthcare and medicine, which cover almost the entire industry from research and training to the production of medical devices and clinical practice.
It will be the first time that Russian Healthcare Week takes place at a new location, Crocus Expo (Pavilion 2, Halls 5, 6, 7, 8, and 11). The trade shows will occupy 20,000 square meters, which exceeds two football fields.
Russian Healthcare Week 2025 is organised by the State Duma of the Russian Federal Assembly, the Russian Ministry of Health, and EXPOCENTRE AO, with the support of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, and under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Week is traditionally included in the list of events supported by the Russian Ministry of Health and in the consolidated list of congresses and exhibitions held in Russia and abroad for participation of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
This large-scale project brings together such major exhibitions as the 34th International Exhibition for Medical Engineering Products and Consumables – Zdravookhraneniye 2025, the 18th International Exhibition for Rehabilitation and Preventive Treatment Facilities, Medical Aesthetics, Pharmaceuticals and Products for Healthy Lifestyle – Healthy Lifestyle 2025, the 8th International Exhibition for Medical and Wellness Services, Health Improvement and Medical Treatment in Russia and Abroad – MedTravelExpo 2025. Medical Clinics, Health and Spa Resorts, the PharmMedProm Exhibition and Conference, and a rich medical business and science related conference programme. These are one of the largest events included in the implementation plan of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia, contributing to the introduction of innovative developments and promising technologies in healthcare and medicine.
In 2025, the Week’s organising committee is co-chaired by Sergey Leonov, Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Health Protection, and Yaroslav Nilov, Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs. The committee also includes the heads and representatives of the Russian Ministry of Health, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the FMBA of Russia, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ANO National Priorities, EXPOCENTRE, relevant associations, as well as chief main freelance specialists of the Russian Ministry of Health.
For the first time, the Russian Healthcare Week and ANO National Priorities have launched the Faces of Medicine special project within the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia for the exhibition participants. It is aimed at promoting and popularising the achievements of Russian medical scientists, inventors and manufacturers. The overall goal is to build direct and effective idea-production-consumer communication, launch innovations, support young scientists, and tell people about new opportunities for treating diseases and active longevity.
According to established practice, the Week raises the most pressing issues, summarizes the interim results of the implementation of national projects, and creates a synergy between business, science, and government. Projects of young scientists who present their developments to the professional community start here.
The year 2025 will be no exception. The organising committee have chosen rehabilitation, longevity and residency as this year’s priority topics at the Week.
It is expected that more than 27,000 professionals from all regions of Russia and friendly countries, heads of federal and regional authorities, chief freelance specialists of the Russian Ministry of Health, heads of major medical centres and health resorts, manufacturers, distributors, investors, rectors and students of medical universities, and representatives of specialised media will take part in the events and trade shows of Russian Healthcare Week 2025.
The official opening ceremony of Russian Healthcare Week 2025 and the 17th Russian Assembly of Professionals in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industries will take place on December 8 at 11:00 in Blue Hall located on Level 3 of Pavilion 2.
Show highlights
About 1,000 companies from 11 countries – Russia, Belarus, China, India, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, South Korea, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan – will take part in Russian Healthcare Week 2025. They will present medical products and equipment, pharmaceuticals, innovative medical and rehabilitation technologies, service solutions, best practices of healthcare management, export of medical services, and the health resort industry. China will have a national pavilion.
Russia will be represented by companies and organisations from 56 regions of the country. Regional group stands and pavilions will be arranged by the Chuvash Republic, the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Altai Krai, the Krasnodar Krai, the Ivanovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orel, Ryazan, Samara, Tomsk, Vladimir, Volgograd, and Voronezh Oblasts.
The first display of medical enterprises of the Moscow Oblast will be organised with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Moscow Region.
The latest medical technologies, innovative developments and wellness services at Zdravookhraneniye 2025 and Healthy Lifestyle2 025 will be presented by industry leaders such as Almaz-Antey Concern, BIMC-Cardio-Volga, MTL, S.P. Conference programme
This year, the conference programme of Russian Healthcare Week includes more than 50 major events.
The 17th Russian Assembly of Professionals in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industries will open the programme on December 8.
The event’s organisers are the Rosmedprom Association, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Business Russia Public Organisation, the OPORA RUSSIA Non-Government Association, EXPOCENTRE, and others.
The event will be attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Health, the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor), the Eurasian Economic Commission, regional authorities, professional public associations, and leading Russian manufacturers of the medical and pharmaceutical industries participating in Russian Healthcare Week.
December 8, the Week will host the Joint Offsite Meeting of the Russian State Duma Committee on Health Protection and the Russian State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs with participation of co-chairs of the Week’s organising committee Sergey Leonov, Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Health Protection, and Yaroslav Nilov, Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs. The meeting’s topic will be the development of science and innovative developments in medicine.
December 9, the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (the FMBA of Russia) will organise the First Russian School for Chief Medical Rehabilitation Physicians with the participation of the Russian State Duma Committee on Health Protection, the Russian State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, and EXPOCENTRE. The programme of the event includes presentations by Russia's leading experts in this field.
At the same time, the Week's trade shows will feature an extensive display of rehabilitation equipment and innovative solutions for rehabilitation and habilitation of people with disabilities.
The National Association of Honored Physicians organises two important events. The first one will be the 1st Forum on the Development of Medical Education in Residency on December 9.
The second one is the International Conference on the Family Microbiome and Reproductive Health on December 10. It will be devoted to a new and important field of knowledge that is the human microbiome. Unfortunately, the impact of this microcosm, an entire ecosystem that has a tremendous impact on health throughout human life, has not been sufficiently studied to this day.
Advanced technologies and achievements of medical science should be accessible. This is the motto that unites the participants and organisers of not only this event, but also all congresses of Russian Healthcare Week.
One more priority topic will be conscious longevity. The International Conference on Longevity Technologies will take place on December 11.
Traditionally, the theme of the Week is multifaceted, and special emphasis will be placed on discussing the progress of national projects and priorities in the field of medicine.
The 2nd Forum on Russia’s Priorities. Long and Active Life will be organised by the National Medical Research Center for Therapy and Preventive Medicine of the Russian Ministry of Health with the support of EXPOCENTRE on December 8.
The 6th National Congress of Export of Medical Services will take place on the same day. It will be organised by the Russian Ministry of Health, the Civic Chamber of Russia, EXPOCENTRE, and the Union of Russian Cities.
December 9, the Week’s general partner, Sberbank of Russia, will organise the Session on the Doctor + AI: the Future That Has Come.
The 20th Anniversary International Scientific Conference on the Current State and Development Prospects of the Elite Sports Medicine – SportMed 2025 will take place on December 10 and 11.
December 9, experts from the Council of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the Development of Information Technologies and Digital Economy will discuss the introduction of new technologies into practical healthcare.
German Klimenko, Chair at the Council of the Fund for Digital Economy Development, Co-Chair at the Council of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the Development of Information Technologies and Digital Economy, will moderate the Panel on Digital Clinics. Implementation of the Latest Technologies in Practical Healthcare.
The Conference on Teleradiology: How to Increase the Profitability of a Clinic by Managing Activities of the Department of Radiology Diagnostic will run from 11.00 to 15.00 on December 9. The event will be organised by the Russian Society of Radiology and EXPOCENTRE.
Russian Scientific and Research Institute for Medical Engineering of the Federal Service on Surveillance in Healthcare with the support of EXPOCENTRE will organise the Workshop on the Procedure for Registration of Medical Devices. Instruments to Support Manufacturers in Launching Medical Devices on the Market for representatives of Russian manufacturers of medical devices on December 10 in the Hippocrates Presentation Area in Hall 11.
The same topic will be continued at the Session on Clinical Trials of Medical Devices: New Opportunities for Manufacturers, organised by Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University of the Russian Ministry of Health (Sechenov University). The session’s experts will be the heads and lead specialists of the Centre for Clinical Trials of Medical Devices at Sechenov University, who have extensive experience in registering medical devices and medical equipment, and conducting clinical trials.
One more important area of the Week’s work is international cooperation. The Section on International Cooperation between Russia and China in Healthcare will be held on December 10. This event always attracts attention for its analysis of real life cases, which is carried out by Anastasia Valova, Managing Partner at Sinoruss Consulting.
The 29th Russian Oncology Congress will be the first to be hosted by Russian Healthcare Week. The event is organised by the Russian Society of Clinical Oncology (RUSSCO), Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology, and the Association of Oncologists of Russia with the support of EXPOCENTRE. The Congress will start on December 11 in Red Hall of Pavilion 2. The events will run until December 13.

December 8, the forum for owners, managers, top managers and marketers of health resorts and medical centres – Health and Spa Resorts: Trends, Concepts, Marketing, Quality, Personnel will bring together leading speakers and experts of the medical and tourism. It is organised by the Centre of Strategic Developments and EXPOCENTRE with the support of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.
Now that digital technologies are developing at a rapid pace and new forms of Internet communications emerge, the medical blogosphere is skyrocketing in Russia. The main event of the winter for doctors and medical bloggers, the 2nd Assembly of the National Association of Healthcare Bloggers, will take place on December 10.
To organise and boost direct negotiations between leading players in the medical tourism market and the exhibitors of MedTravelExpo, EXPOCENTRE, together with the MedicaTour Agency of Medical Tourism, arranges the regular International Medical Tourism Workshop.
In 2025, the specially invited heads of medical tourism agencies from Azerbaijan, Georgia, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Turkiye will participate in the event as buyers. Russia will be represented by agencies from Moscow, Perm, and Yaroslavl.
Due to the increase in the number of topics and event locations within the Week’s programme, EXPOCENTRE launched several satellite projects in 2025.
For instance, the Strategic Session on Healthcare 2025: Priorities, Personnel, Laws will take place on December 10 in the Library Hall of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (1, 6/1, ul. Ilyinka, Moscow).
December 15, the Congress Centre of Sechenov University will play host to the 5th Scientific and Educational Forum THE YOUNG MEDICINE 2025, organised by Filatov International Foundation for Biomedical Technologies Development, the Russian Ministry of Health, and EXPOCENTRE.
