Less than three months remain until Agroprodmash 2018, an important event included in the schedules of Russian food manufacturers and global and local developers of solutions for the food processing industry. From October 8 through 12, Expocentre pavilions will host the latest technologies and equipment for all production stages in different sectors of the food industry presented by major companies from more than 30 countries.     

One of the Agroprodmash most promising and rapidly developing sectors is the Confectionery and Bakery Salon. The Salon enables exhibitors to showcase and visitors to appreciate the full range of equipment from extruders, mixing machines, and facilities for production of pastries, pasta, chocolate and ice cream to flour milling, dough mixing, coating and moulding machines.

This year the Salon will occupy three halls of Pavilion No.8. The participants are more than 100 companies from 10 countries, among them Voskhod SPE, NHL-Trade, PenzMash, SEMZ – Sverdlovsk Experimental Mechanical Plant, Tver Plant of Food Equipment, Irtysh OmPO, Rondo Rus, Russkaya Trapeza, Tehlen, Shebekinsky Machine-Building Plant, Baker Perkins Ltd., Buhler, Chocotech, Diosna-MIWE, Ferrostaal, J4, Haas Food Equipment, Rondo, Sollich, and Van Meer.

Apart from the showcase itself, the Salon participants and visitors can take part in a comprehensive supporting program whose key event is the 3rd Russian Forum on Bakery and Confectionery Industry "Bread Business". The Forum participants will discuss the current state and prospects of the industry, retail market and consumer needs, the issues of nutrition science, biotechnology and food safety in the baking industry and other relevant issues.

Some exhibitors will hold their own business events. Thus, on the 10th of October globally known German companies Sollich and Chocotech will conduct a seminar devoted to the techniques for manufacturing of fruit, fruit and nut, cereal, confectionery and protein bars. Shkola Shokolada will hold workshops on bakery, work with caramel, and cake making.  

The food industry specialists are positive that Agroprodmash 2018 will help many food producers to find answers to specific questions related to the selection of new equipment or replacement of the old one, production automation and computerization, introduction of the latest technologies and mastering of new products.
