The first day of the INLEGMASH exhibition saw the start of the INLEGMASH International Industrial Conference organised by EXPOCENTRE AO and SOUZLEGPROM.

The conference programme was opened by the Master class on public procurement in the industry: plans, realities and economics moderated by Vera Ivanova, Event Programme Director of SOUZLEGPROM, Head of Communications Service of the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry SOUZLEGPROM.

Svetlana Mikhaylova, Director of Expertise Department of ANO SOYUZEXPERTIZA, CCI of RF, reminded the participants of the master class about the current legal and regulatory acts of the Russian Federation aimed at implementation of the import substitution policy. They provide for preferences for suppliers of products manufactured in the Russian Federation and entered in a special register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. It is such suppliers that have the opportunity to receive a particular state order, including the State Defence Order (SDO).

In her presentation, Svetlana Mikhaylova elaborated on the procedure and procedures for confirming the manufacture of products in Russia, pointing out the importance of companies obtaining quality expertise for the prompt inclusion of their products in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

Elizaveta Repkina, Deputy Director of the Technical Department of the Whole World Company, shared her own experience of working with government orders. According to her, "to enter the state order, you need to participate in exhibitions, promote your products, show them, tell them about their advantages, say how your product will be better compared to the one used now, submit proposals to the ministry, associations, participate in various conferences and actively engage in promotion". In any case, she said, the state order creates a certain stability and confidence in the future for the company to develop its core business.

The INLEGMASH conference continued its work with the Discussion on cooperation of textile companies for shared growth: experiences of cooperation across industry sectors, which gathered a numerous interested audience, and ended with the Workshop on advertising and promotion of goods and services in the textile and garment industry: new terms and changes to the Advertising Act.

The participants, in particular, shared their experiences of using various advertising technologies most successful in the textile industry, as well as the practical aspects of labelling advertising in Runet, which has now become mandatory.
