Today Expocentre Fairgrounds opened its doors to the 24^th edition of the Mir Detstva International Exhibition for the Children's Industry 2018 and the 21^st edition of the CJF – Child and Junior Fashion 2018. Autumn.   

This year Mir Detstva welcomes 660 Russian and foreign exhibitors from 27 countries. The exhibitors include the world’s leading brands, which demonstrate the best products for children. The trade show occupies three pavilions of Expocentre Fairgrounds. For the first time in the show’s history, it uses Forum Pavilion for its showcase of goods for newborns and babies. Other product sectors include toys and games, children’s furniture and sports facilities, goods for New Year and Christmas celebrations, supplementary education for children, creativity and design, and licensed products for children. 

CJF 2018 brings together 409 companies from 27 countries to demonstrate new collections of fashionable clothes, shoes and accessories for children and future mothers.

At the opening ceremony, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Gulnaz Kadyrova talked about the main topic of the Congress of the Children's Goods Industry, which is the digitalization of the children's industry. Other topics to discuss will be quality and safety of goods for children. According to deputy minister, the export of Rusisan-made goods for children has increased by 16.5% over the first half of 2018. It is the highest figure among all industry sectors in Russia.

According to Expocentre Deputy General Director Mikhail Tolkachev, the main goal of the trade shows is to promote development of the market of high quality goods and creation of a safe and enriching environment for kids. He also talked about many associated events of the two shows. These events are a great source of information and knowledge for the industry professionals. The key event is the Congress of the Children's Goods Industry organized by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
