For the first time Reklama 2019 featured the conference on The Day of Digital Printing on Fabrics: Advertising, Promotional Products, Interior Design and Fashion organised by the PUBLISH Magazine and the Digital Textile Magazine with the support of Expocentre AO.

Chief Editor of the Digital Textile Magazine Mikhail Shpilkin told about the dynamics and further development of the printing market on the whole and digital printing in particular. According to him, in 2018 the volume of the global textile printing market amounted to 38 bn sqm; 2.57 bn sqm was digitally printed that is about 6% of the total volume. At the same time digital printing in the advertising industry accounts for about 20%.

The digital printing market is developing rapidly annually growing by about 20%, said the expert. The market is expected to double by the end of 2023.

The topic of digital textile printing aroused great interest. Pros and cons of digital printing were discussed by advertising customers, clothing manufacturers, interior designers, representatives of printing shops and advertising companies, i.e., everybody interested in the use of digital innovations in fabric printing.

During the discussion manufacturers and suppliers of promotional products told about the latest solutions in digital printing. Representatives of advertising and manufacturing companies and printing houses shared their expertise in fabric printing and showcased finished products for design of clothes and interior as well as for fabric advertising.
