Russian companies will take part in the 16th edition of the International Optoelectronic Exhibition and Forum OVC EXPO 2019 to be run on 13-15 November at China Optics Valley Convention & Exhibition Centre in Wuhan, China.

The Russian group stand is organised by the Laser Association (Russia) and Expocentre AO. The stand comprises Active Optics NightN and Alpha (Moscow), VNIITEP (Moscow region), Laser Systems and Elfolum (St. Petersburg). Participation of Russian companies at traditionally accompanied by a special programme prepared by the Russian Laser Association and Expocentre AO with the assistance of the Hubei Laser Association and the Chinese-Russian Sci-Tech Cooperation Committee of the Government of the Province of Hubei.

OVC EXPO is an effective platform to demonstrate the latest achievements in photonics and optoelectronics as well as to exchange information and develop cooperation between industrial companies across the globe. OVC EXPO is held by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

The exhibition runs in Wuhan, the capital of the Hubei province, where the Optics Valley of China, a major industrial base of lasers and optics as well as China’s only technology centre of geospatial information, is located.

The exhibition sectors cover lasers and laser systems for production engineering, optics and manufacturing technology for optics, 5G optical information and communication, microcircuits and optical displays, sensors, test and measurement systems, machine vision and imaging, big data technology, and a wide range of applications of optoelectronic technologies in related industries.

The participants in OVC EXPO 2019 will be more than 400 companies from 20 countries and regions. The visitor attendance is expected to exceed 26,000 industry professionals.
