By decision of the Executive Committee of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), Alexey Vyalkin, Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO, was unanimously appointed to the Association's Board of Directors.

On June 8, 2021 Alexey Vyalkin took part in the meeting of the Board of Directors of UFI, which was held online and connected the world's largest exhibition organisers, exhibition centres and national exhibition associations.

At the beginning of the meeting UFI President Anbu Varathan introduced Alexey Vyalkin as a new member of the Board of Directors and gave him the floor. In his welcoming speech, Alexey Vyalkin briefly spoke about himself, touched upon reviving EXPOCENTRE’s exhibition activities in conditions of restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, and stressed the importance of holding exhibition events both in person and in a hybrid format.

The Director General noted that EXPOCENTRE AO intends to remain an active member of UFI in the future.

The meeting heard a report on the current activities of the Association, considered financial aspects of its activities, initiatives and plans of the Association.
