Today the 16^th Intourmarket International Tourism Exhibition opened at Expocentre Fairgrounds.

The official opening ceremony was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Federal Council Andrey Yatskin, Head of the Federal Tourism Agency Zarina Doguzova, Vice Governor of St. Petersburg Maxim Sokolov, Director General of Corporation Tourism. RF AO Sergey Sukhanov, other regional managers and representatives of the tourism industry.

More than 70 regions of the Russian Federation are exhibiting both with separate and group stands of interregional projects.

On the threshold of the approaching tourist spring-summer season, more than 800 exhibitors are presenting new destinations and tour products. The exhibition is attended by representatives of the tourism industry from the leading outbound tourism destinations in Russia: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Turkey and other countries for which Russia is a traditional and favourite market.

Visitors can choose new and original itineraries designed for different categories of travellers, lovers of comfort and outdoor activities, people of different ages and levels of income.

The exhibition runs till April 3.
