On the 13th of December St. Petersburg hosted an election General Meeting of RUEF, the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, where elections of the RUEF governing bodies were held for another three years.

As a result, CEO of ExpoForum International Sergey Voronkov was elected new RUEF President. He replaced the RUEF long-term leader Sergey Alexeev. Director General of Expocentre Sergey Bednov was unanimously re-elected the RUEF Vice President. First Deputy Director General of Expocentre Nikolay Gusev was included in the RUEF Presidium. Some representatives of Expocentre joined thematic committees.

At the meeting the attendees considered the Union current issues.

A decision has been made on holding the next RUEF General Meeting in June 2020 in Ufa.
