subscribe to news Metalloobrabotka to host the first Forum for Industrial Cooperation and System Engineering

The 1st National Forum for Industrial Cooperation and System Engineering will take place within Metalloobrabotka 2023 at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, on May 23.

The forum was initiated by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Rostov and Yaroslavl Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council on Industrial Development and Competitiveness of the Russian Economy, the National Partnership for Subcontracting Development, the Association of Metalworking Enterprises, and EXPOCENTRE AO.

The forum aims to create a regular professional platform for the system of Russian chambers of commerce and industry to summarise and share successful experience of manufacturing subcontracting and engineering activities in the Russian regions and the EAEU countries.

Heads of Russian state development institutions, leading industry associations and enterprises of Russia's regions and the EAEU countries have been invited to participate in the forum. Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian State Duma, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Russian Industry Development Fund, major industry associations and Russian industrial companies are expected to participate in the events.

The plenary session of the forum will discuss issues of cooperation between enterprises, strengthening interstate economic integration within the EAEU, as well as the prospects for the development of high-tech consortia, industry-specific engineering centres, technology platforms and industrial clusters as drivers of the country's economic growth.

Special attention will be paid to the development of systems engineering, which is designed to ensure advanced technological development of the Russian economy and implementation of the provisions of the Concept of Technological Development of Russia until 2030. The forum participants will share their experience in implementing key high-tech projects supported by different development institutions.

The forum’s events will take place on two main platforms. The Russian Subcontract Exchange will provide a search for manufacturing cooperation partners, bringing together large customers (contractors) and executing SMEs (subcontractors). The programme of the Contact Fair includes presentations of manufacturing companies and a meeting in the Business Speed-Dating format.
