Expo-Academy Project, held within the conference programme of Mir Detstva 2021, featured the Business Marathon: An Effective Team: How to Build a Result-Oriented Team where speakers gave attendees practical recommendations on marketing strategy. The event was organised by EXPOCENTRE AO, partner of the event - the First International Digital University.
Marketing expert Sergey Gromov, who has considerable practical experience, talked about how to strategise, where to start and what to get the client interested in for increasing sales.
"A company advertises in social networks," says Sergey Gromov, "it posts and thinks that the target consumers should find them, then somehow subscribe to them, find their contacts, which were somewhere in the first post ... They expect quick results. And then they are surprised that the advertising does not have the expected effect.
"We grew up on Russian fairy tales, where the hero gets a quick result without doing anything,” the speaker continued. “The hero is used to someone always helping him - the Humpbacked Horse, the Goldfish... He does nothing, but gets bonuses, half a kingdom and Helen the Beautiful in addition...".
A marketing strategy cannot have instant results. It is work that needs to be constantly done. Therefore, in his presentation Sergey Gromov talked about how to automate marketing and sales processes; how to choose an effective marketing contractor; how to build B2B and B2C sales remotely; and how to earn more than spend on marketing.
In the second part of the seminar, the speaker analysed specific cases of participants in the audience.
