The Khimia 2020 international exhibition, the leading show for chemical industry and science, will be held at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds from October 27 to 30, taking into account current conditions troubled by the coronavirus pandemic. 

The exhibition and supporting events are organised in strict compliance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor. Exhibitors' stands are placed in Pavilion No. 2 (Halls 1, 2) taking into account all sanitary and epidemiological safety measures, including visitor flows separation. 

The preparations allow companies-leaders of the market, representatives of small and medium business to come to the exhibition and take part in it. They show the best technologies, equipment and innovative developments for chemical and petrochemical industry, as well as chemical products for machine building, food and medical industries, defense industry and agro-industrial complex. 

Over 100 exhibitors from Belarus, Germany, Japan, Kazakhstan and Russia demonstrate their innovative solutions at the Khimia 2020 exhibition. 

The project debutants are Japan Machinery Company (Japan), GRASS R&D Center, Bonus, Dego Global, Quarko, Legenda (Belarus), NGO URAN, Samson Controls. Brands of foreign countries with representative offices in Russia are represented by the Russian companies.

Manufacturers from Russian regions occupy a worthy place at the exhibition. For the first time this year group stands of Volgograd, Kaluga, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl Regions have been organised. Thanks to the state support measures, the companies of these regions have an opportunity to present their products at the highest level. As practice shows, participation within a group stand allows to form a large portfolio of scientific and technical developments, to conclude contracts and to enter new markets.

Product sectors of Khimia 2020 cover all areas of chemical complex. All modern achievements of chemical science, which are used in various industries, are presented by large specialised sections: Chemistry, Petrochemistry, Chem-Lab-Analyt, Chemmash. Pumps, Green Chemistry, Plastics Industry, Corrus Salon, Startup Chemzone, Automation and Digital Manufacturing, Services. 

The focus is on innovation and high-tech. Startup Chemzone is an excellent tool for presentation of innovative solutions for small innovative enterprises. 

During the four days of the exhibition, industry professionals will have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the market in the new conditions, find optimal solutions for business, strengthen business relations, conclude profitable contracts, and network with partners and clients as intensively as possible on the site.

As usual, the exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive programme of supporting events, which is of great practical value for the participants. The main event will be the 8^th Moscow International Chemical Forum - the largest industry discussion platform with participation of the leading companies of chemical and petrochemical market of Russia. Thematic sessions, seminars, panel discussions and presentations will be held.

Khimia 2020 is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Chimvest Scientific and Technical Centre, Russian Chemists Union, NIITEKHIM OAO, Mendeleev Russian Chemical Society, Chemistry Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
