Sixteen leading city companies are demonstrating their products at the "Made in Moscow" stand. Over 20 new products made by Moscow companies are demonstrated at the Metalloobrabotka 2019 international exhibition at Expocentre. The group stand is organised by the Center for Support to Foreign Economic Activity of Industries and ANO Mosprom.
According to Alexander Prokhorov, the head of Moscow Department for Investment and Industrial Policy, Moscow is exporting metalworking products to 133 countries. In 2018, its primary consumers were CIS member states, India, China, and Cuba. The overall exports of metal-working products from Moscow topped $968 million in 2018. Metalloobrabotka 2019 demonstrates the newest machines, lasers, additive technologies, and industrial automation products, in addition to over 20 technologies.
For instance, the technology of direct additive production of metal pieces stipulates consecutive multilayer welding of metal powder by means of powerful electron ray emission.
Besides, Moscow companies demonstrate state-of-the-art solutions for teamwork with 3D models in virtual reality. The application can be simultaneously accessed by 10 to 20 employees, including in a distant mode, to analyze a virtual product prototype. The solution considerably reduces the number of mistakes, cuts the product development period, and bolsters effectiveness of personnel training for production facilities.
Visitors will see the first portable metal and alloy analysis device which measures concentration of elements without using additional expendable materials. The device is successfully sold to Asian countries, the United States, Canada, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and India.
Industry experts are no less interested in programs which the city authorities are using to develop the industrial potential and support export-oriented city companies. The "Made in Moscow" stand also operates a system for making appointments with potential buyers, investors, and technological partners in the MatchMaking format.
