The Russian pavilion featuring Russian manufacturers of laser and photonic equipment has opened at the 24th edition of Laser World of Photonics, Munich, Germany.
The Russian pavilion is organised by Expocentre AO and the Laser Association (Russia) with support of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This year the pavilion showcases products of Russian manufacturers of lasers and optical systems, microchannel and fiber optic solutions, laser and optoelectronic components, monocrystals, optical integrated chips. The exhibitors include Avesta, Active Optics NightN, Baspik, Inject RME, Leningrad Laser Systems, Rostox-N and Teragercovaya i Infrakrasnaya Fotonika (Terahertz and Infrared Photonics) from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania, the Moscow and Saratov regions.
The biennial Laser World of Photonics was first held in Munich over 45 years ago. It is a key event for the laser and photonics industry which brings together researchers and manufacturers who demonstrate the latest research findings and products related to laser, optical and optoelectronic technologies and their application. The show is supported by industry associations from Germany, Europe and North America. This year it is accompanied by seven conferences. The area of over 55 thousand sq m accommodates more than 1,300 exhibitors from 42 countries and more than 30 thousand professional visitors.
