President of the Russian Renewable Energy Development Association, Chairman of the Executive Board of RUSNANO Management Company Anatoly Chubais sent his welcome address to the participants, visitors, and organisers of the RENWEX 2019. International Exhibition for Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles and the International Forum "Renewable Energy for Regional Development".

In Russia, renewable energy is a rapidly growing industry having big prospects. As a matter of fact, its development is of strategic importance and greatly affects the future of the country. Thanks to the government support, major Russian and foreign investors came to the industry. As a result, the construction of electric power stations is growing; technology transfer is carried out, as well as production localisation, and export of equipment, says the message.

Anatoly Chubais expressed his confidence that the Forum would feature an interesting and meaningful discussion of the present and future of renewable energy.
