The Agroprodmash 2019 international exhibition brought together 939 exhibitors from 33 countries; the number of visitors was estimated at over 25,000. Same as before, the exhibition offered exclusive opportunities for networking and exchange of practices and topical information. Consultation centres organised by leading professional associations at Agroprodmash 2019 were very popular.

Consultations on every aspect of the confectionary industry were available at the stand of the Russian Scientific Research Institute of Confectionery Industry. The Institute's specialists suggested original solutions to the most difficult production problems based on fundamental, applied, and experimental studies of confectionary hardware and technology to confectionary factories, which sought their advice.

The Consultation Centre for Ingredients of the Food Ingredients Producers Union helped specialists broaden and deepen their expertise and legislative requirements for using food ingredients. Experts answered questions about technical regulations, rules of use and distribution, certification of compliance of food ingredients, forwarding documentation, mandatory legislative requirements for food marking, and other issues.

The Consultation Centre for Refrigeration Technology was extremely popular. According to Yury Dubrovin, Head of the Russian Union of Refrigeration Enterprises, there is a keen interest in the activity of the Union members. "Our specialists answered hundreds of industry-related questions. We will keep looking for more efficient ways of interaction between the Union member companies and consumers at Agroprodmash," he said. The Union experts provided consultations on various aspects of implementation of modern equipment and technological solutions, which can preserve products to the fullest extent during their processing, delivery, and storage.

The Employment Centre of Expocentre and the Afina HR Agency has been working at Agroprodmash for a decade. "The Employment Centre is quite well known," Afina General Director Natalia Prokudina said. "Together with Expocentre, we have developed a highly convenient format for exhibitors and visitors. Specialists know that they can receive advice and find a job at our centre. Employers can use it to find the best specialists available on the market. We will continue to work in this format," she said.

The Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions project was continued at the exhibition. It aims to counter the display of counterfeit goods at shows.
