Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, has visited the Made in Russia collective showcase at the INNOPROM international exhibition in Yekaterinburg. EXPOCENTRE AO is the operator of the group showcase.

The minister got acquainted with the products presented by 24 companies from 12 regions of Russia. The minister emphasised the importance of the support provided by the trade representatives of the Russian Federation and representatives of the Russian Export Centre (RES) abroad for Russian companies to enter international markets.

Ksenia Tagirova, Senior Managing Director for Development of Non-Financial Products and Overseas Network of the REC, told the minister about how this year's INNOPROM exhibition will be useful for exporters.

“In conditions of the new reality, our stand has become not only a popular platform for promoting Russian products to foreign markets and organising meetings with foreign customers, but a platform for finding import suppliers and contractors from Russia and other countries”, she highlighted.

It was also noted that on the platform of INNOPROM this year the REC is holding a series of open events together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the lounge of trade representatives in the format of pitch sessions in a pair "RF trade representative - foreign representative of the REC". They tell companies and guests about the specifics of the countries and business environment in Armenia, Belarus, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, about the export support measures and mechanisms available to Russian Federation trade missions and the Russian Export Centre, and about opportunities to enter new markets.

The exhibition is packed with promising b2b meetings with domestic and foreign potential partners from countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Armenia, Turkey, UAE, Iran and several African countries. Exhibitors note the keen interest of visitors in the products on display.
