On April 22, 2019, the Business and Cultural Complex of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation hosted the ceremony of delivery presentation of the Letter of Appreciation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation to Natalia Vashchilo, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation, for contribution to the development of Russian-Belarusian cooperation in the field of health care and pharmaceutical drug turnover.

The Letter of Appreciation was presented by Ekaterina Bednova, Head of the Exhibition Operating Management of Expocentre AO. The Expocentre representative thanked the Embassy staff for the fruitful cooperation and support of Expocentre international exhibitions.

"This year, Expocentre is celebrating its 60th anniversary. But this is not only our special day – all these years we have been marching shoulder to shoulder with our Belarusian colleagues and partners. I suppose there is no exhibition at Expocentre in which the Belarusian products are not presented. Such active promotion and support are possible only with many years of interaction with Belarusian partners and, first of all, with the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus," said Ekaterina Bednova.

During the visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus, a working meeting was held with the Counselor-Envoy of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation Vadim Senyuta and Senior Advisor of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus, Head of the Business and Cultural Complex of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation Vasily Chernik. The parties discussed prospects for further interaction.

The awarding ceremony took place on the eve of the celebration of the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as part of the presentation of the Motherland memorial, the author of which is the national artist of Russia, sculptor Vladimir Surovtsev. The monument will be installed in France in the beginning of September 2019. It is noteworthy that Vladimir Surovtsev is the author of the sculpture Golden Mercury, the symbol of the National Prize of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in the field of entrepreneurial activity.
