From September 20 to 22, Technotextil 2022, the 13th International Exhibition for Technical Textiles, Nonwovens and Protective Clothing, and Hometextil & Design 2022, the 22nd International Fair of Interior Fabrics, Home Textiles and Decorating Materials, are running at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds. The exhibitions are organised by Gefera Media, the successor to Messe Frankfurt RUS.

More than 50 companies from Belarus, Germany, Italy, China, Russia, Turkiye and Switzerland are participating in Technotextil 2022. They demonstrate the full range of technical textile products, as well as raw materials and equipment for their production: composites, polyester fibres, PVC fabrics, non-combustible and fire-resistant materials, chemical additives for improving fabric properties, geotextiles, 'smart fabrics', impregnations and coatings.

The display also introduces highly intelligent machinery for the processing and production of all types of textiles and nonwovens: ultrasonic machines, industrial sewing machines, pneumatic, rapier weaving machines and much more.   

Around 100 exhibitors from Belarus, China, France, Germany, India, Pakistan, Russia, Turkiye and Uzbekistan will be presenting their products at Hometextil & Design 2022. 23 Turkish companies are united in the National Pavilion of Turkiye. 

Taking into account the importance of import substitution, modern, high-quality products made in Russia are on display by exhibitors from Moscow, St Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk, Tyumen, Altai Territory, Bryansk, Ivanovo and Kursk regions.

The exhibition features a wide range of textiles for bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, children and HoReCa, as well as interior and furniture fabrics, leather, carpets and floor coverings, textile equipment, decorative paints, sun protection systems, window and wall decoration.  This year's premiere is the Fabric Lab zone, bringing together furniture, interior and decorative fabric manufacturers.

As usual, a three-day conference programme where industry professionals discuss the current situation and market dynamics is held within Hometextil & Design 2022.
