subscribe to news Additive manufacturing is one of the central topics of the Metalloobrabotka 2021 conference programme

The 21st edition of the International Exhibition for Equipment, Instruments and Tools for the Metalworking Industry, Metalloobrabotka 2021, will run at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds on May 24–28 and feature a rich conference programme.    

One of the most important events will be four-day hybrid INDUSTRY 3D: International Conference on Additive Technologies and 3D Solutions. It is organised by RPA CNIITMASH (Rosatom State Corporation), Webconf Art of Conference and EXPOCENTRE AO with support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and members of the Association for the Development of Additive Technologies. 

The conference will be held as a series of topical days. May 25 is the Day of AM Users. The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade will take part in it. Representatives of companies that use additive manufacturing and 3D solutions will share their experience. The ministry’s experts will introduce the industry development plans till 2030. 

The Technology Day on May 26 will bring together manufacturers and integrators who will offer their reports on 3D technologies and innovative solutions highlighting successful cases of implementation of additive manufacturing in manufacturing industries. 

May 27 is the Engineering Day. Representatives of global companies will talk about advanced modelling capabilities and software solutions used in additive manufacturing. Directors of Russian additive centres will share their experience. The conference participants will learn about the latest developments in reverse engineering and the application of 3D technology in metrology. 

The Science Day on May 28 will conclude the conference. The Day will be devoted to the most interesting research, educational programmes and startups in the AM sector.
