Alexey Vyalkin, Director General of EXPOCENTRE, met with Hooman Razdar, Managing Director of the Iran International Exhibitions Company, during a working visit to Iran as part of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's mission.

In April this year, a cooperation agreement was signed between EXPOCENTRE and the Iranian International Exhibition Company during the visit of a mission of Iranian businessmen to Moscow.

At today's meeting, Alexey Vyalkin talked about EXPOCENTRE's activities and promising exhibitions and congresses which are of mutual interest to both countries. He also expressed the hope that as a result of the agreement between EXPOCENTRE and the Iran International Exhibitions Company the formats of cooperation between Russian and Iranian businesses in the exhibition and congress industry will be expanded.

During his visit to the International Exhibition Centre in Tehran, Alexey Vyalkin got acquainted with the permanent showcase of leading technology companies in Iran. As a result of negotiations with the head of the showroom, a joint decision was taken to develop a cooperation roadmap as part of EXPOCENTRE's activities to support Russian innovative companies.
