RENWEX 2021 Exhibition and Forum for Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles, to be held at Expocentre Fairgrounds on June 22-24, features an extensive conference programme.

During the three days there will be 13 events dedicated to renewable energy development. Immediately after the official opening ceremony of RENWEX, the Plenary Session on Decarbonisation and Energy Transition: Outlook for RES Technologies in Russia and Globally will take place. It will be attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Industry and Trade, State Duma, Russia Renewable Energy Development Association, International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Association of European Businesses (AEB), Russian Association of Wind Power Industry, major Russian and foreign companies.

The plenary session will feature speeches by Mikhail Ivanov, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Pavel Snikkars, Russian Deputy Minister of Energy, Pavel Zavalny, Chair of the Russian State Duma Committee on Energy, President of the Russian Gas Society, Gauri Singh, Deputy Director General of IRENA, Kristina Haverkamp, Managing Director of the German Energy Agency (DENA) and other prominent experts. 

On the first day of the exhibition and forum, panel discussions will take place: International Technological Cooperation and Development of Green Innovations, Legal and Regulatory Framework for Renewable Energy Sources - an open meeting of the working group of the Russia Renewable Energy Development Association, Digital Transformation of the Power Industry: Innovations and Energy Efficiency.

Equally relevant and interesting for the expert community will be the discussions at RENWEX 2021 conference events on the following days. They will focus in particular on economic and environmental aspects of renewable energy sources (RES) development in Russian regions, development of energy infrastructure in remote areas of the Far East and the Arctic using modern RES and thermal generation technologies, prospects for hydrogen power development in Russia and worldwide, as well as many other important topics and challenges that the renewable energy industry faces today.

The exhibition and forum will unlock the potential of participating companies and provide practical recommendations on how to implement projects that will serve as a foundation for the growth of renewable energy technologies.
