RENWEX 2020. International Exhibition for Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicles, where advanced developments in the field of renewable energy are presented, and the International Forum on Renewable Energy for Regional Development will take place at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds from October 20 to 22, 2020.

RENWEX is a developing exhibition and congress project which was launched last year. For the second time EXPOCENTRE will hold the exhibition and the forum with the support of the Russian Ministry of Energy, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, The Russia Renewable Energy Development Association, the Non-Profit Partnership for the Development of Renewable Energy EUROSOLAR Russia, the Russian Solar Energy Association, under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Initially, RENWEX 2020 was planned to be held in April, but due to the world coronavirus pandemic the terms were postponed to October.  Professionals of the industry and companies engaged in the field of renewable energy are waiting for this event, considering this congress and exhibition project very up-to-date and promising. The Russian renewable energy industry is in the process of its formation, according to the experts, has great potential and will play an increasing role in Russia’s energy sector.

RENWEX is the first and only exhibition and congress project in our country, which is entirely devoted to renewable energy sources.

The forum and the exhibition face a number of difficult challenges. These are active assistance in the development of the retail market of renewable energy in Russia, the popularization of advanced technologies and environmental engineering, the introduction of innovative equipment, discussion of topical issues in the context of regional energy, demonstration of scientific and technological potential of Russia

The motto of the forthcoming forum is "Developing renewable energy - developing regions". Its participants will discuss the development of the RES retail market and necessary technical solutions, statutory regulation of RES, the use of RES in energy supply for remote and isolated consumers, international experience in the development of renewable energy, digitalization of modern energy and other important topics.

RENWEX also represents a platform for effective networking between consumers and RES manufacturers and promotes business development in the field of renewable energy. Last year the professional expert community, business and authorities showed high demand and great interest in the exhibition. 

According to the surveys conducted on the RENWEX 2019 results, about 95% of exhibitors have reached the goal on the number of new business contacts, 98% stated that they are satisfied with the quality of their business contacts. According to the audit data, 84% of exhibition visitors are company directors or decision makers choosing suppliers. This statistics speaks about efficiency of RENWEX as a communication channel between suppliers of RES equipment and those who are interested in this sector of energy production.
