Russian Week of High Technologies 2024 (RWHT) will open at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds, Moscow, on 23 April 2024. It is a large-scale series of exhibitions and congresses dedicated to Russian IT, telecommunications, navigation, and telematics.

This year, RWHT includes the Sviaz 2024 International Exhibition for Information and Communications Technology, the Navitech Display of Navigation Systems, Technologies and Services, the 17th International Navigation Forum, and the International Consumer Electronics Exposition ICEE.

The increased attention to these events emphasises the Week’s importance for the industry and the development of the national economy. Therefore, RWHT is included in the Designing the Future initiative of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia.

The key event of RWHT is Sviaz 2024. The exhibition has doubled in terms of space and the number of participants in comparison to previous year. This year it occupies a net area of 9,000 square metres. More than 600 companies from Russia, Belarus, China, Cuba, Cyprus, Iran, Kazakhstan, South Korea, and Singapore are taking part in Sviaz. China and Iran have national pavilions.

The Week features the Russian Software Forum: Effective Solutions for Data Economy. This year it is held as a plenary discussion. The event is organised by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Russian State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, the Competence Center of Import Substitution in the ICT Sector, the Russian Software Products Association “Russian Software”, and EXPOCENTRE AO.

During different discussions, IT industry experts will talk about the development of functionality, compatibility and cross-platform compatibility of Russian software solutions, as well as measures of state support for IT companies in 2024, priorities for the development of domestic radioelectronic products, and the process of software and hardware/software import substitution in the public sector. The forum will be moderated by Vladimir Kononov, Deputy Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education and Chair at the NTI Expo Organising Committee.

Russian Week of High Technologies 2024 is open till April 26.
