Representatives of the construction industry, the authorities, business and sectorial science have taken part in the forum "Construction Industry. Horizon 2030" recently held in the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. They discussed the achievement of primary objectives and targets of the Construction Industry Development Strategy for the period until 2030 and demonstrated keen interest in the presentation of Expocentre's construction exhibition projects.

Head of the Expocentre Department of Hosted Exhibitions Vera Zhuravlyova said, in particular, that Expocentre had been holding the annual Russian Construction Week and the RosBuild International Exhibition for Building and Finishing materials and technologies since 2019 for the purpose of contributing to the Housing and Urban Environment national project.

Polls show that 90% of exhibitors see the exhibition as a chance to generate new sales leads and partners. The goal is to increase sales and to boost recognisability of companies, as well as to develop inter-regional and international relations. RosBuild 2019, which took place in April, was attended by industry professionals from 80 Russian regions and 57 countries. The exhibition had more than 15,000 visitors, 43% of whom were regional and foreign professionals, Ms. Zhuravlyova said.

"The important thing is that Expocentre’s exhibitions always have the target audience. We do a lot to attract quality professional visitors and to accommodate the needs of our exhibitors. Judging by registration data, over 80% of people visiting our exhibitions are CEOs and top managers who make procurement decisions. Seventy-four percent of the RosBuild 2019 participants noted the expansion of their sales geography and access to new markets," she said.

The next edition of Russian Construction Week and RosBuild 2020 will take place at Expocentre Fairgrounds on March 31 – April 3, 2020.
