subscribe to news Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and Expocentre present Russian companies at FIHAV 2018 in Havana

Major Russian companies and organizations will take part in the 36th edition of the FIHAV 2018 Havana International Fair which is to run in the capital of Cuba from October 29 through November 2. The Russian pavilion is organized by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly with Expocentre AO and supported by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Russian pavilion occupying more than 250 sqm includes 15 companies among them manufacturers of hardware and software for the telecom industry, suppliers of vehicles, road, construction and special purpose equipment (including electric cars), spare parts and units for them, aviation materials and components for Russian aviation equipment of civil use.

Besides, the visitors will learn about the services provided by Russian transport and logistics companies, companies engaged in design of new ones and reconstruction and upgrading of existing industrial enterprises and production facilities of mining and metallurgical industries such as heavy machinery, metallurgy, foundry, rolling, cement, and other sectors.

The Russian exhibition in Havana will be accompanied by a rich supporting program where the participants will discuss investment projects, potential of the Cuban market for Russian companies, and cooperation between banking systems of two countries. There will be arranged round tables on various topics of economic cooperation. On the first day of the trade show it is planned to hold the National Day of Russia that will end with a gala event in the Embassy of Russia in Havana.

The industry experts emphasize a multisectoral nature of the fair comparing it to a gateway to the markets of Cuba and Latin America. Today, it is the most prestigious trade fair in the region.

Cuban partners consider Russia a regular and key participant in the Havana trade fair. Both parties are positive that FIHAV 2018 will result into new business projects and further comprehensive development of trade and economic cooperation between our countries.
