EXPOCENTRE's new multi-industry project the Russian Industry Week will unite several significant industry exhibitions to be held in autumn, from October 19 to 22.

The week includes the international exhibition for equipment and technology for materials processing Technoforum 2020, a new international exhibition for equipment, technologies and materials for welding and cutting Rusweld 2020and the leading woodworking exhibition in Russia and Eastern Europe - the international exhibition for machinery, equipment and technology for logging, woodworking and furniture industries Lesdrevmash 2020.

The format of the Week will bring together more than 19,000 visitors and more than 600 participating companies, which will present their latest products, technologies and developments on an area of more than 17,000 sq. m. (net).  

In 2019 Technoforum reached a new level of development. The exhibition was supported by the State Duma of the Russian Federation and was included in the Research-Technology -Innovations Expo  project aiming to promote  the implementation of national programmes in the field of transformation of science and technology, education, digital economy, industry, transport infrastructure and energy.

The exhibition hosted the launch of Technoforum Leader Competition for professionals and manufacturers and the Meeting of Marketing Experts of Industrial Companies. The events had excellent organisation, received a positive response from visitors and were announced in the business programme for 2020. Due to the dynamic development of the industry sector and the market of additive technologies, the Technoforum exhibition will occupy Pavilion No. 1 and for the first time Pavilion No. 5 (section "Additive Technologies. 3D/AM") at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds.  

The new exhibition project Rusweld will bring together manufacturers, suppliers and consumers of equipment and products for the welding industry. The exhibition is designed to support the development of the welding industry as well as to showcase its capabilities and achievements. During its preparation, the Rusweld project received support from the National Welding Control Agency. An important factor in the organisation of the exhibition was the opportunity to demonstrate welding and cutting processes in action.  Forum Pavilion is equipped in accordance with the necessary technical and fire safety measures.

In addition, during the exhibition, EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds will host the regular convention of organisations participating in the Welding Production Certification System and the Welding Professional Qualification Council activities. Each visitor will have an opportunity to become a part of the professional community and attend an eventful business programme.

The exhibition Lesdrevmash 2020 is organised by EXPOCENTRE jointly with the Union of Timber Manufactures and Exporters of Russia with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers EUMABOIS, under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  The Lesdrevmash 2020 exhibition will show the best samples of the newest equipment and technologies for logging, woodworking and furniture industries, as well as achievements of the Russian timber complex, including all stages of wood processing.
