The 7^th edition of Europe + Asia Event Forum (EFEA) opened in St. Petersburg on January 17, 2019. Expocentre delegation headed by Director General Sergey Bednov takes part in the Forum.

The Forum features sessions and workshops from leading experts of the event industry, a showcase of technologies and service providers, professional awards of the meeting industry, matchmaking centre, and other events.

EFEA traditionally hosted a visiting session of the CCI of Russia Committee for Exhibition, Fair and Congress Activities headed by Sergey Bednov. At the session the participants discussed a draft law on Exhibition, Fair and Congress Activities in the Russian Federation and elaborated proposals for its further development. The Committee members considered organizational and information support of exhibitions, fairs and congresses by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2019. The attendees summed up the results of the Committee's work in 2018 and identified priorities for 2019.

EFEA will close on January, 18.
